The third Albanian entry for the ESC 2006 is chosen.
Luiz Ejlli's fairy tale looks so much a like Anjeza's. He participated and
won the "Krasta
Show" and entered the Festivali i Kenges where he got the second place.
But one year
later he entered again, this time with a very strong ethnic song "Zjarr e
ftohte". the
Albanian public and jury surrendered this time and gave him the first place.
Luiz Ejlli was 20 years old but that didn't make him unexperienced.
He had already the title as pop idol and winner of the Festivali 44. It was
time for him to
proof himself in front of the European audience. The song was sung in
Albanian. Even
though, but failed to make it past the semi-final stage.
