2008 Olta Boka - Zemrat lamë peng
TheThe youngest of the festival,16 y.o. girl from Tirana was first seen as a
finalist at tv show “Gjeniu i vogël” (The little genius). It is time for Olta
Boka, to represent Albania for the 5th time in Eurovison Song Contest this
time taking place in the capital city of Serbia.
Before winning the festival 46 that made history by adding the rule of 3
minute time limits, Olta Boka has been a unknown name in Albania, but
everything is now about to change.This has been one of the most
commented festivals ever, when it comes to the jury vote and the audience
choice.The Albanian audience had an imediate reaction on the media and
TV right after the jury's vote, that caused the Albanian National TV directors
board start investigating the jury's vote.Hopefully this is going to make
these directors see, that the return of televoting would deffinately be a
good idea for the festival in the future.
Anyway, all this apart, OGAE Albania stands behind Olta Boka and wishes
her good luck and see you in Belgrade!
