2009 Kejsi Tola - Me merr ne enderr
Kejsi Tola is the winner of the 47th edition of Festivali i Kenges. This is
her second victory for this year, as previously she was chosen as the best
singer on Albanian TV show called "Ethet e se premtes mbrema" which
holds the same concept as Pop Idol.
Before that she won the first prize on the festival for youngsters, a festival
that judges by the vocal capacities and the same year she doubled the
first prize with the victory in the National Festival for Children which is held
every year in Shkodra (Albania). She also won the second prize in the
Festival of Tirana. Other partecipations are the show "Gjeniu i Vogel" and
"Top Fest".
Kejsi Tola started singing since she was 10 y.o and now she is studying
for canto (opera singer). She have never launched a CD before, but in a
interview she gave to shekulli.com.al she said that she had plans for one.
Maybe that is why the songwriters Edmond Zhulali and Agim Doci chosed
her for the performance of their creation. This two songwriters and the pop
idol winner Anjeza Shahini are responsablie for Albanias best results yet
in Eurovision .
It is the third time that Albania chooses a 16 year old singer to be the one
among the other artists that will head for Moscow in May.
