It seems that the Albanian song will be the once
more the first one to be made known as the
country's final has been set as early as the 19th
December. Popular Albanian names and Eurostars
are tipped to return to the Festivali i Kenges this
year, among them Anjeza Shahini, Olta Boka and
Elsa Lila.
As it was confirmed to the Albanian media by Pirro
Cako, the artistic director of Festivali I Kėnges, the
festival whose winner traditionally represents the
country in the Eurovision Song Contest, will take
place on 18 and 19 December. The deadline for the
submission of the songs was 18 October.
The festival organisers together with the Albanian
broadcaster are exploring new possibilities
regarding this year's format but nothing has been
finalised yet. It is quite possible that we may be
seeing many familiar names competing such as the
country's first entrant ever, Anjeza Shahini, who
claimed she was contacted by many composers
and said she would enter the competition if offered
a good song. Olta Boka, who represented Albania
this year in Belgrade, confirmed to Panorama
earlier that she is competing once more with a song
by the same creators of Zemrën e lamë peng, which
placed 16th. Olta is currently working on her first
album. Finally, Elsa Lila, who has already won the
festival twice and hosted it last year together with
Pirro Cako is also tipped to be making a comeback
after 11 years.

njohur Shqiptare dhe yje te Eurovizionit do ti
rikthehen skenes te festivalit te ketij viti, mes tyre

Sipas konfirmimit te bere ne mediat Shqiptare nga
drejtori artistik i festivalit te kenges, z.Pirro Cako,
festival ky i cili tashme ka traditen qe te perzgjedhe
kengen dhe artistin qe na prezanton ne Eurovizion,
do te zhvillohet me 18 dhe 19 Dhjetor. Afati i
dergimit te kengeve u mbyll me daten 18 Tetor.
Organizuesit e festivalit bashke me televizionin
Shqiptar po provojne mundesine e koncepteve te
reja per kete vit por asgje nuk eshte konkrete per
momentin. Eshte e mundur ´se kete vit do te shohim
emra te njohur si per shembull perfaqesuesen e
pare Shqiptare ne Eurovizion Anjeza Shahinin, e cila
ka deklaruar se ka patur propozime nga
kompozitoredhe se po ti ofrohej nje kenge e bukur
atehere do ti rikthehej skenes se festivalit. Olta
Boka ka deklaruar te Panorama se ajo do te marre
pjese edhe nje here me te njetet kompozitore qe
krijuan Zemren e lame peng, kenge kjo e cila e
radhiti Shqiperine ne vend te 16 ne Beograd. Olta
per momentin eshte e zene me albumin e saj te
pare. E me ne fund Elsa Lila, e cila drejtoi kete
festival vitin e shkuar bashke me Pirro Cakon eshte
nje nga zerat qe mund ti kthehet skenes pas 11
vitesh.
